To be honest, I think something like the opposite of this tweet; id est KA is much better than DM.
DM's writing is far less accessible than KA's and often far too over-complex.
Karen Armstrong seems the more ambitious. And very successful too. Certainly the more prolific.
She is more than a writer and a historian. She is herself a thinker.
Perhaps she could be accused of bending the facts to conform to her views or something along those lines.
Well, facts are facts anyway and can be researched.
She has her views. I think what she says, even when it is more of an opinion, is usually quite justified.
I think she's great anyway.
As much for her spiritual message as for her undoubted scholarship and wisdom.
